Welcome to the Marquette Soo Bahk Do Academy

Marquette Soo Bahk Do has been instructing the Korean Martial Art of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan since early 2008. Classes are held in Southgate Center located at 1200 South Front St. in Marquette, MI (across from Huron Mtn. Bread Company.) Our studio is officially certified (SE-548) by the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation Inc.

Our school has been operated under the guidance of Master Carl Vonck, a 4th Dan (degree black belt) and an internationally certified Instructor with 11 years of teaching experience.

Our art can benefit anyone and everyone regardless of age, gender, interest or ability. We use Soo Bahk Do to realize our full potential both physically and mentally to emphasize "Virtue in action" demonstrating courage, discipline, confidence and humility through our sincere efforts in training and our behavior towards others.
